Long way to go but he looked good today after early misses against Harris.

He did pull hazlewood yesterday, but this pitch has become a bit sluggish so it is not easy to time the ball. It wasn't short enough to pull as well.

In test cricket, he was always good enough to punish bad balls and even the good ones. Rahul is making chanderpaul's scoring rate appear like that of Sehwag..... this kid should at least try to have a S/R of 50 on this road with a tired attack.... this type of batting will only put pressure on our stroke-makers. Must say that he needs a lot more experience as far as game situation awareness is concerned.

Getting bogged down easily and unable to rotate strike by making 20 of 70 balls and getting out. Maintaining strike rate between 40-55 is necessary in test cricket to play as free flowing batsman.
