Makes more sense to send Ashwin up the order if needed... He can score quick runs without brain-farting... Even a quick 40 off 50 balls will really help setting the tone for the chase... Ashwin at 3... Kohli at 4... Rest of the batting as is... Pujara at 6 or 7 to steady the ship and play for a draw if necessary

after watching the second innings of India i do believe this is the need of the hour we need somebody at the top who can allow india to get into a good position. With Mooli in good form as well IMO its certainly worth a punt

I think he is best suited for #5 where he scores briskly taking advantage of tired bowlers. Batting at 3 will be a different proposition with the ball newer and the bowlers fresher. Slow batting by Pujara and to an extent Vijay is not the most thrilling sight but it doea help the batsmen coming in later.
