Pishant bowled really well since the morning session,bowled the right lines,didn't stray away much. Yadav was poor,shami is innocuous

yeah point remains.BK is much better than both and no reason he can't do as well if not better.Also in that series Stuart Clark who was a similar bowler did well too

Not a single pacer averages 30 this series bar maybe Hazlewood temporarily. Maybe Harris is down now but he's best bowler from both teams cause of his consistency. So it's hard but good job Ishant. When there is assistance he gets wickets like today and last 2nd innings where he got 3. :nice: India's best overall bowler this year. Better than Koomar who can only do well in England imo.

I have a post up there with a logical argument and not one filled with emotion like you claim :two_thumbs_up: Like it or not I've said it how I see it. And I understand u support Bhuvi. He is likely to be picked in 4th test cause Dhoni likes his bowling. Avesh Khan doing well but they are far too young. Millind didnt do great in one game I saw. Monu Kumar is playing U23 for Jharkhand.

Even Ishant can get swing here and there does not make him a swing bowler.

I think the idea behind Bhuvi is he won't go for many. The "atleast he won't go for 5 an over line" is typical. His main weapon is swing. In Aus after 10 overs he becomes an economical bowler who keeps it tight.

Not only are you repeating blatant lies, (lately he has taken wickets BOTH with old and new balls) but it seems you have still not learnt your lessons Bhuvi rubbed your face in dirt when you guys said he couldn't be a death bowler (become one of the best we had) He rubbed your face in dirt when you said he couldn't take wickets with old balls (Took wickets both with new and old balls in England) Now he will make you eat dirt again if he comes back in the last test The reason is because unlike you, he is a quick learner and not a one trick pony. He becomes this, he becomes that only happens in your own narrow mind where you do not see when things have changed.

Ishant's bowling this innings was brilliant. However, the issue I have with Ishant is that as a player who has now played 60+ Tests, these spells are not consistently happening. This was his pitch map today. Most deliveries are in the 6m mark (ideal for Aussie pitches) Usually he tends to bowl too many in the 8m mark, which is good for containment but makes it harder to take wickets. You could attribute it to the following: * Sloppy bowling at the other end (which means he has to slow down the scoring rate) * Playing a lot of cricket in India (where its much easier to drive on the up, therefore the 6m mark becomes an easy drive) I could forgive those sorts of problems for the first couple of overseas tours. However, like I said, he has played 60+ Tests and is the leader of the attack. He needs to bowl a slightly fuller length in these conditions more often. Right now, Ishant and Ashwin are our 2 most improved bowlers in overseas conditions so at least its heading in the right direction.
