The 7+4 combination worked as Yuvi bowled his quota of 10 overs... We have Jadeja doing that now... You got to see him as Yuvi's replacement and the 7th batsman

youngindia Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 The problem for us we don't have a single batsman who can bowl seam up .Every other team has seam bowling all rounders. So we need someone like Binny if we come across a seaming wkt and need to play 4 seamers those allrounders may not be a blessing ...often they prove a curse instead of a full fledged batsman or a full fledged bowler, you are going with 2/3rd and 1/3rd players that's not good. for example, look at how SA screwed itself by playing botha at no 7 ...that was suicide waiting to happen :haha: lot of teams are stupid when it comes to allrounders..it only means they are equally myopic opinion of a crowd is usually only average quality its a myth that allrounders are needed ,leave alone fraud ones
