Plus its a super patta.Even Shami's wickets have due to batsmen slogging. Not comparing,but Harris has been accurate but has been easily negotiated as well.Such is the nature of the pitch

His deliveries were dying even in England but there he got swing and got a few edges that carried. Harris has been probing all through the series. Has beaten bat numerous times even today if you watched the game and also is averaging 25 in this series with an ER of less than 3.

I suggest he focuses on pitching it on a good line and length every delivery and also hit the gym and eat some kebabs to increase his pace.

pindxb Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Bhuvi's run up was also not like usual, so might be that hes really not match fit, which makes it a very bad selection. Even if he was, he wouldnt be bowling much quicker than 125k. That just wont work in Aussie conditions. You need guys who can swing the ball at pace. I thought Umesh had it going for him, but this test he didnt move the ball at all. And the lines, lets not talk about it. Shami wasnt much better either but guess he got lucky. See the difference in quality when the Aussie quicks got into their act.

vishalvirsingh Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Who selected bhuvi to play ahead of VARUN AROON in this test shud be crucified. it was embarrassing to see Bhuvi bowl 105k and between 105 to 120k and tailenders hitting him for 4 four's in the overs. he was hardly trying to get wickets ..he was trying to just restrict batsman by bowling at 7th wicket at a kid's pace... why was he played when he was not fit... was varun n ishant too unfit...???

Asif had one good test that too because that Sydney pitch has lot of grass, otherwise he was very ordinary in Australia same with Pollock he did well in one series when he had some pace when he was trundling he was hammered too.

The crazy thing is that the selectors have chosen 2 more trundlers Mohit and Kulkarni for the tri series. I still remember the kind of wickets Kulkarni got in the Sri-Lanka series. It was mainly due to their batsmen slogging away and throwing their wickets. And some commentators are applauding his performance in that series..:wall:

None of Aaron, Umesh, Shami are consistent. But Aaron at least looked like picking up wickets even on flat Adelaide pitch in 2nd Aus innings.
