Why move him from his favorite spot just to compensate for other players inefficiency. Rahane in million years cannot fill Kohli's role at no3. This move itself might cost India world cup like Guru Greg's insane move of Sachin to no4.Let your best batsman bat at a position he is most comfortable and is best for him. +1. Insane that our best bat isn't getting max overs to bat.

rkt.india Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Dhawan is no Jayasuriya either Doesn't matter. He averages 40 plus in ODIs, did well in his last two ODI series. Vijay hasn't played an ODI in years and has no record to back him up. Dont mix ODIs and tests.

BeautifulGame Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Jadeja averages 40+ at 7 we dearly miss him. When he is fit we should play both Axar and Jadeja in the XI and drop Ashwin Will strengthen both the lower order batting and bowling .We have Raina for off spin variety anyway
coffee_rules Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 In fact, bowling is so weak in this WC team, any kind of super strong batting is not good enough. They can't be chasing 300s or hitting 350+ which is doubtful to be defended as well.
