It's become a cliche but it's very true that our batting, infact any team's batting on these Austalian decks is far different for what they are used to doing in their home conditions. It's easy to convert 90-3 score to 285+ scores in most parts of the world. However, in Australia, 90-3 kind of scores means, hard grinding out to reach somewhere near 250. This is the difference, and this is where some one like Binny can come in handy compared to others who have amassed lot of runs in home condtions. Binny can come good like he did yesterday in his cameo.

Bhuvi at full fitness bowls 136 to 138. He is sure carrying injury n I beleive he should be replaced by mohit or varun in world cup team. He is not a 12 5k bowler He is underperfor ming and is not even looking to be able to take wickets.

They didn't plan the WC preparation that well. SHould have started the process an year back. With lot of overseas Test series we missed the bus. Rahane, Rayudu, Dhawan are not convincing choices. Dhawan is way too inconsistent. Raina, Dhoni, Kohli are the only one select themselves. Rohit sharma only now is showing some form. But given the history of how he has progressed i won't be surprised if he hits a low again. On top of this there is hardly any batsman who can bowl and hardly any bowler who can bat. Harbhajan could tonk the ball around so could Zaheer. Similarly Sehwag, Yuvraj, Tendulkar could bowl. This is a weak squad. When they built the WC side they should have given a thought about including potential all rounders.

Our faster bowlers used to lose pace after a couple of years in the team. It's sad that out bowlers who already started out at military medium have also started losing pace after a coupe of years in the team. Bhuvi needs to be dropped.

bhuvi was hitting 136-138 around new zealand tour last year... he can do it. just overused keep him to odis and t20s for now. No need to bury him on dead bangla and home tracks.
