Even if he flukes his way to some double tons against mighty Ireland and UAE, cometh knock out and we'll be searching for him. Better bring in Rayudu now than later. He will get some match practice and confidence. Also he can be utilized as a hitter lower down the order and did well against Starc, Hazlewood, Johnson etc in the warm up game. Should have never been dropped in the first place. Yes :om: . Rohit will click only in SF if India reaches there after another 5 matches.His quota is once every 7-8 matches.

Rayudu lacks in shot making ability against pacers and he cant play the pull shot well if the pitch has pace and bounce. I have seen him get out several times against the short delivery. He is more of an accumulator and can play at 4 and can take singles and build innings but lacks another gear to score at a faster rate. He can perhaps learn to do it over time but as of now, Rohit should be picked definitely.

Never in the word I thought I would actually gona defend Rohit :(( Nohit is absolutely pathetic and guys like M.Tiwary, Jadhav, NOjha deserve it more than him but when it comes to Rayadu, Nohit is still 1000 times better than him..
