when that no-ball call was made? By all accounts those i read and heard that was a questionable call. But it is of interest when Aleem Dar made that call? was it when ball had already got in air or immediately when ball reached Rohit?

Lazy's expression also helped Dar to believe it was waist high. He bent a little as if to be afraid or avoid getting hit on his precious gems.

I dont think it was a no ball. He was on 90 India on 196/3 in the 40th over . So realistically they would have restricted India to about 280 as MSD and Raina would have been more circumspect. But in the context of the game there was no way BD would have chased that down. India took their foot off the gas in the final 10-12 overs of the BD innings. You could see the Indian bowlers winding down towards the end. There are 0 issues with that LBW call and that Dhawan catch. In both cases benefit of the doubt went to the umpire (umpires call) and the fielder. (Shikar Dhawan)

anybody got stills of the rohit ball? One thing is clear it was not that much of a howler as the BD players make it out to be. IMO it was slightly below waist height. But its not as if it was at his knees.

Rohit reached for the ball and crouched a bit..in real time it looked like he was avoiding getting hit. Dar on instinct raised his arm even b4 knowing Rohit had holed out. Call came after Rohit had hit it..so he wouldn't have heard it..It would be called out most of the other times.

From what i saw that catch was legit. Skirt would move typically. It didn't . There was no part of boundary that was blocked by his feet. Were umpires really biased in today's game? What about the huge edge in first over which no one bothered appealing for ? BD fans are sore losers baring a brief period of 15 overs when they were bowling they were never in the game. You lost by 109 , just except we are better and move on. By the way that somya fellow billed as next Sachin might one day be at par with Kaif

The other reason why Bangla fans are cribbing is that historically too many decisions have gone against us. This is just another one. A young cricketing side that is trying to build itself gradually does feel victimised when such things happen.
