gakgupta Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I know, Rohit is the most trolled batsmen in ICF. I was thinking about it and mostly, it could be to do with his talent......SO much talent at his disposal and he hardly put's in any effort to justify that..... Now, I am going to make a bold statement....he has the game to succeed in Ozzie and he is going to play a huge role in winning this world cup.... Same Strac where batsmen allround the world are finding it hard to put bat to ball, he played him well and made a very good century in the tri-nation series.... Guyzzz....Watch out for him.....HE HAS SOMETHING SPECIAL TO OFFER TO ALL THE CRICKET LOVERS ACROSS THE WORLD IN THIS WORLD CUP
LaradDawson Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 fact is that a different hero has stood up every time team India have been in trouble. and yesterday Rohit Sharma did that.
Vijy Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Sharma will find it very different against the likes of Starc, Cummins/Hazelwood (o even the Paki attack if they make it).
fineleg Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Nohit is minnow basher, wont do jack squat against Aus. With the menacing form of Aus bowlers, only kohli amd rahane (if they dont play loose bloody shots) can tackle. We will bid goodbye to MSD's odi career at sydney :((

We will bid goodbye to MSD's odi career at sydney :(( Kohli is quite good against Oz, but his better performances came at home. Rahane is almost definitely not suited to be an ODI player period. In fact statistically Nohit is extremely good against Oz, but that's because he had a massive feast against them on some of the flattest pattas back home.

Yes like the last hundred against aus at mcg when others struggled.

Rohit scored 139 at MCG in triseries against Aus, but I cant see him play two back to back good innings. He gets complacent, lazy and take things for granted after one good innings and then bunch of poor scores.

Vijy Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I don't see any of this crowd standing up against the Oz juggernaut. Dhobi's form and capabilities are fading, Nohit is too inconsistent, Rahane is not cut out for ODIs and Kohli can't handle Aus in Aus. That leaves the trio of Dhawan, Raina and Jadeja who are beset by serious technical deficiencies.
