Sid Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Wahab has made many fans today.Awesome performance and passion.
MechEng Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Top sportsmanship from Wahab, bowled with fire even after the dropped catch.
vvvslaxman Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Saw the video. lol Watto is so out of form that he was standing their like a statue until the ball came very close to him. he could have been hurt badly He got away.
adi B Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 lol at least watto has an excuse that he was out of form but what about clarke?he played like a joker,he shouldnt be there in that side
Lannister Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 This wahab guy is just brilliant. Wish we had a bowler of his caliber. None of the pak players are deserved to be playing with this guy. All of 'em are bloody losers.
ViruDilSeKhelo Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 lol at least watto has an excuse that he was out of form but what about clarke?he played like a joker' date='he shouldnt be there in that side[/quote'] Someone needs to put 50kg of dumbells into clarke's backpack, help his back to become more flexible or break.
CSK Fan Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Afridi and Younis were laughing around Again, I think fans read too much into all this. If Afridi is laughing so what. People are commenting on Lala's poor body language. I feel he bowled okay this world cup in the twilight of his career, didn't take many wickets but that's how he has been for a while, economical usually. Batting he didn't reign it in when needed. Younis in ODIs is a joke though. Err, because this is his last ODI match? Because it was a world cup quater final? And no, an average of 141 with only 2 wickets, which came against UAE is not ok, it is downright pathetic. You do know he was taking the spot of a proper spinner and was the only spinner in the team? Easy to be economical against minnows when you don't even bowl in the front, power-play or at death

It's all about the process not the result :cantstop: On a serious note I don't feel Afridi let the team down. Hafeez and Ajmal were banned. They didn't want a specialist spinner. Like I said, Afridi didn't take many wickets but this was known ages ago. He bowled well versus India. It was his batting that he didn't go on but again, there was no rival to his all rounder type of spot. Maybe Haris Sohail low down and drop Afridi. No way Malik was going to play ahead of Afridi. So basically they had to select him. He was never expected to bowl ripping leggies and run through teams. Tidy 10 overs, chip in with few wickets, score some runs. His batting was the let down.
jonas10 Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I dont know if i should feel bad for them. If it was Kohli and Dhoni crying Pak fans would have gushed with joy.
TheWall Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Afridi and Younis were laughing around Happy that Mission misbah is accomplished...
gaurav92 Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 :hatsoff: Wahab. Bowled like a champion :hatsoff: Misbah :hatsoff:, farewell champ !

You do know they had a young spinner waiting in the ranks? Not one single wicket in 6 out of 7 matches is a big deal even for part timers. They had 4 years from 2011 to find a replacement. Am unable to post pics but Afridi and younis were laughing and hugging with big grins once match was over like they have won something big
Invasion 550 Posted March 20, 2015 Author Posted March 20, 2015 I dont know if i should feel bad for them. If it was Kohli and Dhoni crying Pak fans would have gushed with joy. There are idiots everywhere. I felt bad when Kohli cried in the t20 match.
dial_100 Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Nice bowling. Stupid fielders. They shouldn't be playing Ranji level, let alone WC QF. How can they drop so many catches, misfields, bad shots.. just everything they could mess up they did.

Oh the guy who was not part of their set up until the chucking fiasco and had played one odi prior to wc? That person over afridi with so much experience and can bat? Agree if they were laughing at wrong time maybe. But afridi has passion. Even younis was upset being dropped from odis earlier.
sandeep Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Inspiring efforts by Wahab this world cup. Let's hope he keeps his performances at this level going forward, Pakistan will need him to do so.
Shogun Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Wahab should be handed over the captaincy. He's passionate, aggressive and brings tremendous value to the team with both ball and bat. It was spectacular to watch big mouth Twatson wet his pants when faced with an express bowler.
vvvslaxman Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Inspiring efforts by Wahab this world cup. But you cannot fix their batting for a long time. Younis, Misba are old school batsmen. Current generation is from Afridi school. Hideous technique. Every one of them. Ajmal may not be that effective with modified action. Even then he is close to 40 as well.
