Is this the worst world cup ever?

Personally I think this wc has been a disappointing one though nothing beats 2007 in that aspect. The quality of matches were way too low,hardly a contest between the and the ball,too many one sided matches and the most importantly pathetic schedule!! I think this world cup has been the second worst after 2007

Yep.Most of the matches between big teams have been too oe sided.And the QF were too boring as well.Obviously nothing comes close to the farce that is 2007 Think the 1996 and 2011 were the best.Lot of quality matches and great crowds

Ireland win Pakistan bowling vs Aussies Guptil 200 Australia vs New Zealand Bangladesh defeating England The list can go on, ... this is a great WC, perhaps not the best. But certainly not comparable to 2007 which was awful across all fronts

i think the 99' date='03 wc were the best along with 2011[/quote'] 96 was excellent particularly the knock out stage .Personally think the 2 SA-Aus matches cloud people's judgement about 99 world cup.Most of the other super 6 matches sucked rain messed up a lot and the final was a joke as well

This has been the most plain,uneventful and boring wc for sure. 2 batsmen went past 200 but still no one seemed to care.

To be honest, I have enjoyed this world cup. Some great commentry being done by Cricket greats like Shane Warne and there were some brilliant matches. Matches have been one sided in pretty much every tournament. Yes, q/f weer bit one sided but I enjoyed them none the less.
