True so maybe an elongated carnival involving the associates then a fast-track route to the last four was spot on. The eventual winner will have beaten 8/9 sides and will fully deserve to be crowned as such.

I think World cup as a whole just brings and reminds every cricketing country of how important it is a 50 over cricket format. We will be watching lot of 2020 cricket next few months, but 50 over still remains the deal and it is here to stay regarldess of what people say about it or predict on it.

Newsflash ICC, we dont mind pitches where 250 is par score, we dont mind highlights that last longer than 3 bloody minutes, we dont need 6's flashed in our face every 4 seconds. Afghanistan vs Scotland Australia vs New Zealand Pakistan vs South Africa India vs WI These games were decent because pitches gave bowlers a chance. 99 percent of other games have been boundary feasts with each more boring than the last. 2011 had the right mix between flat pitches and sporting pitches. This event has been a total hackjob in that regard. And ffs dont even think about pinning the blame on this one to the Associates, reality is the semi-finalists are all absolutely miles ahead of the other teams and that has been proven in the amount of one-sided games.
