kubrickian Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Our bowlers are good and have done superbly in this tournament but still think they lack the firepower to bowl out a side like Australia. If we had restricted Australia to 260-270 we would've had a great chance to chase it down. If we batted first, we would have scored 280 maximum if we batted really well because this is a bit of a two paced wicket and not exactly a batting paradise. I dont think we would have defended that score against Aus who bat till 10. Perhaps there would have been some pressure on Aussies when chasing but who knows ? We just have to accept the better team won. We could've had a better shot with better wicket taking bowlers.

Unfortunate when toss is the deciding factor in a big game like this. Impossible to tell, I actually thought the ball hooped around more during the day., just sayin.
