CoverDrive Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 last two matches were good to try the big 3 at top while chasing low totals. will they follow the same order if they are batting first. this way if you lose 1-2 quick wickets you are down to less experienced guys. but the batting order is much longer with abdulla and starc also decent batsmen. they should try Jalaj saxena also always good to have a variety of spinners

Regarding chasing big totals i don't think same combination going to work. Gayle 1 Kohli 3 AB 4 is the best option if we find a another opener [again this keeping in mind Kohli's recent form] Ideally team should allow Gayle to play tutk tuk for first 10/15 balls..this means we need another opener who can score quick 20 ball 30.
