What he meant was for Indians came for overseas to support India and got tickets. He wants them to support new zealanders.. We Indians living in Australia won't go against country where they earning their bread... Too much integrity there... But what I have seen is expats in NZ sometimes go above n beyond to support NZ...

And obviously the push to support NZ comes from India. Then rest assured they won't support kiwis. But I doubt that lot of naturalised Australians would show up at MCG.. Most Indians would be visitors....

So, it seems legit and not just a sponsor message with his image plastered on it.
