I thought dhoni made a fair statement about overloading the young bowlers at the state teams. May be BCCI can rein over state boards and make sure they arent overloaded. I am really surprised none of the existing pundits make such kind of statements. May be our previous bowlers just not that much in to cricket post retirement. :hatsoff: MSD for pointing to potential issue.

Besides that we also need a professional program and world-class facility in place for the fast bowlers. They need to be treated with utmost care. Cricket Australia has shown how to do it right.

Look at the kind of pitches he bowled in Saurasthra which bowler would want to bowl quick fruitlessly on those pitches.

Unadkat was never that quick. 135ish pace wont do much. Now he does not even bowl 135. He has not developed his fast twitch muscles further due to him not trying to bowl quick. You wont bowl quick until you try to bowl quick.
