TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 India is in need of a quality left-arm seamer. With the exception of Pawan Suyal, there aren't any genuine left-arm quicks in India. Chama Milind impressed in the last U19 World Cup. He was able to generate speeds of close to 140k at 18 years of age. One can imagine what he would be capable of a few years down the line when he develops physically. The BCCI needs to groom and develop him the same way Cricket Australia groomed the likes of Starc, Hazlewood and Pattinson. Everything from his diet to his fitness regime to his biomechanics to his workload in every match needs to be closely monitored. We don't produce a lot of genuine quicks so we can't afford the few that we have slip through our hands. epmapwLbAX0
fineleg Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 As usual bcci will fail to nurture and groom bowlers/players
vvvslaxman Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 He is using his shoulders a lot which is good.
Texan Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 BCCI doesn't care about grooming young players. They only want to know the next avenue for raking in the moolah is.
vipin Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Nice to see him bowling at 135 - 139 clicks already
Cricket_Hacker Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 This guy was back to bowling 125 kmph in a Ranji game this season
rkt.india Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 5 years back Starc's pace bracket was 135-142K, now 142-150K. What improvement with great accuracy.!
gattaca Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 His bowling style is like Junaid Khan. You are right. He has that jump and action looks like junaid.
vvvslaxman Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 His bowling style is like Junaid Khan. Start up is like that. But at the crease he is more like Aamir. bit like Srinath.
MK55 Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 5 years back Starc's pace bracket was 135-142K' date=' now 142-150K. What improvement with great accuracy.![/quote'] 5 months back it was 140-146 now 147-151k
Cricket_Hacker Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Indian bowlers usually have the same pace as their western counterparts in U-19 but dont develop aafter that.Boult was bowling 125 kph in U-19 now consistent 140 kph.Our bowlers retain same pace.
vishalvirsingh Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 seems he needs to improve quite a lot but definitely looks interesting
vishalvirsingh Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 why is pawan suyal not supported and why is he not being selected...I feel chamma malind is 130 to 134k and unadkat is a slow trundler so we hardly have left arm quick. hence pawan suyal should be really taken care of
