Most women disagree with the way she tried to elaborate "how our society is patriarchial" by showing a picture of her with period blood. There were more like she was sitting in the toilet .Explanation was.. they show bloody face of male in movies.. can't we show our period blood. The thing is they show bloody face of females as well.

It is a taboo subject even for women.Women lead restricted lives for almost one sixth of their reproductive lives because it is taboo. It is sad.

I have not met anyone personally who has filed any such case or has face any such case. I do know people whose daughter was almost killed after being beaten up for two years(I have mentioned it here on the forum before)....A cabin crew. Her family chose to go for mutual divorce instead of filing a case of domestic violence...because everyone in their family told them....people will not marry your daughter ever if she files a case of domestic violence.For her future ......they chose to let two years of beating and a serious attempt on life let go. Who knows who suffers more, the women who get beaten up for years or innocent men and their families who end up in jail. The society is ****ed up where a woman watches her daughter in law being beaten up or the poor mother of the man who is falsely accused. The problem is that the laws are ****ed. Men accuse women of cheating as its a loophole in the system, women accuse men of physical violence as its the only accusation that is serious enough to get men to negotiate a divorce. Men don't get to visit their kids or custody, women almost never get money. Now when one says that "a particular" law is against women, it doesn't mean that men have it all fair. It's ****ed up for both.
