MCcricket Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 The selectors r a bunch of jokers, no vision at all, how will these oldies n trundlers serve any purpose, sad not to see Suyal, Choudhury, Pandya, K Yadav, Hooda, Sarfaraz. You cannot keep on doing same mistakes n expect different result, what does India need, some good pacers ,especially Left arm, Potentially good spinners, good talent to groom from U19 n younger bracket so, serves no purpose,selections r a joke
vishalvirsingh Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 pragyan had some issue's with his bowling otherwise I believe he is our best spinner still..he is a class spinner and will succeed big aginst the A teams even on fast tracks. amit Mishra is also a good spinner - actually better then karn sharma and hence these 2 r right choices and even fats bowlers picked are great.

This maybe just to give the fringe international players good match practice vs quality sides so that they are ready enough if they're called into the team.

Sooda Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Pankaj has been forgotten after being in the test squad not long ago and having a decent FC season. Showing the selectors inconsistency. Should have been in instead of Mithun. Why is Umesh there too? Do they want our only 140 kmph bowler ground to the ground. He is a test regular , should not be playing A team matches. There is a tour to SL at the end of July isnt there? No break for him? Sandeep should have replaced him, in this squad. And someone else gone to Zim Rishi Dhawan has been a genuine all rounder in FC cricket, why not test him against A teams? Didnt see his name. There should have been two distinct squads for FC and List A matches. Uthappa, Manish, Jadahv and sandeep should have all featured in the List A squad against Aus A- and Uthappa and Sandeep could have played 4 day games too. I like the fact that Pujara captains, grreat to see Mukund in there and this otherwise is a good A team

vishalvirsingh Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 my view is that one out of Varun and Umesh shoud play for INDIA in tests, odi and even T 20. in tests both should play. even the age old Srilanka is now selecting Chameera who seems a 140K bowler and Prasad is also 135 to 140k. just see now Prasad is giving results.

You dont need to find CSK connection everywhere.
