Racists above.
Acknowledging that certain type of people usually have lighter skin than others is not racist. It's only considered racist by those who are conscious of their skin colour or have an inferiority complex due to it.

The Muslims I've interacted with get really pissed off when someone even jokingly calls them Pakistani supporters. Most of them are Sachin fans.

Never met a Indian muslim who is a Pakistan fan. They might like couple of players like Akram or Imran. But they support India. On the contrary, have met couple of mohajirs who support India over Pakistan. They have uncles, aunts, wives in/from India, hence the connection.

in my experience only the older generations do (our parents and grandparents). and this includes only muslims from delhi and surrounding areas like UP. and hyderabadis too for some reason. south indian muslims (mallus and tamils) couldn't care less abt Pakistan. though the mallus claim arab ancestry haha. but youn generation gives no fecks unless its some buttthurt crybaby, even then this group does that because they feel they were persecuted or targeted in india rather than any love for Pakistan.

Based on initial post, I think OP should have been more honest with the title of this thread. Instead of reading "Popularity of Afridi and Pakistan Cricket Team in India", he should have created title as "Popularity of Afridi and Pakistan Cricket Team in Indian Muslims". Afterall that's what he really wanted to discuss.
