Akmal should be given a run at no 4. Once Hafeez action gets cleared they can play 7 batsman. With Maqsood at 7 they will be alright I think. No. 5-6 ODI ranking where they have been in the last 3 year. It's not the batting order there batsman just don't seem to be mentally there, talent is there but everyone seems to be in Afridi mould. Most pakis have no clue how single hand Afridi has destroyed entire generation of batsman.

I remember Ajmal saying just before the IND vs PAK world cup match, that they don't need to practice for the games as they got the abundant talent in them. Even the great Aussie team didn't use to come up with such statements. They are so far up their **** they can't able to differentiate between the reality and the la-la land.
youngindia Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Its Bangladesh they are playing.We whitewashed them with our 2nd/3rd XI recently.Binny bundled them out for 60 odd lol that was a fraud performance in garbage conditions.left to me I would erase it off the books. give it a rest will ya actually our second line of batting talent can still be competitive against international sides...guys like tiwary and rayudu can put sl and ban to the sword unfortunately its this hack who was made to look good.

Truth to be told, they had some awesome batsmen in 90s who performed better than our batsmen. Bowling talent they had in abundance always. Just looking at the current, this team looks regressed by 3 decades atleast. Apart from fast bowling there isn't anything to challenge now that the chuckers can't chuck. It was bound to happen. Just a question of time. No cricket at home, their obsession with extremism, turning a blind eye to all the wrong doings at home has led to this Think about it, with their population and cricket crazy fans, they should have been the 2nd in line to India in terms of cricketing power. At least at par with England. Instead they have turned up to the garbage dump of cricket, sitting lonely - stinking !

They were always this side who could get back at any moment in the game & turn it around. I liked their approach, their instinct. As a captain, I revered that instinct - it's something which I would like to have from my team. Post 2007, it's a different story altogether - that sting is missing.

That NZ team did not have their key players and they usually dont do well in SC conditions...for pakistan its like home conditikns for them and yet they lost to a minnow team..

Pakistan even before the retirement of players and dropping of few more were not in sync with modern day one day cricket. But they had few minnow bashers who would never give teams lik Bangladesh a sniff. Just look at the scoring rate these days with 4 fielder restriction. Pakistan has to improve in several areas not just technique.
