tweaker Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Pandya is only one from medium pace bowling (Binny,Dhawan,Pathan,) players who can bowl with 135 +kmph speed & can hit sixes at will.
vishalvirsingh Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Binny is not supremely fit. Binny is not an extra talented bowler. binny looks a good Batsmen. pandya looks a deadly batsman...hard hitter. can't comment about bowling as I hv not seen him enuf. fielding looks superb.
shibnarayan Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Great prospect. In batting he got good technique and bowling got pace.should stay with India team to devalop as all rounder for t20 and one days.
tweaker Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Without any specialise training he has shown he can bowl with good pace & can wack some sixes.Just want to see if he is selected for Indian team,he improves or regress with specialist coaches.
philcric Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Ricky Ponting on Pandya "I have actually got quite close to Pandya since I started in this job, he is fearless and has lots of very good skills," Ponting said. "We haven't seen his bowling much yet but it is particularly good. We saw some of his hitting prowess tonight and even in the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore where he took 16 in the end. He is going to be a very good cricketer going forward and is someone I am excited to continue to work with." Good to hear. Ponting usually isn't impressed very easily. http://www.espncricinfo.com/indian-premier-league-2015/content/story/872805.html
BeautifulGame Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 One good thing about part of Mumbai set up is they usually take care of players even after IPL season with both facilities and finance . Hopefully he develops into the seam bowling all rounder we desperately need
Shivaji bhonsle Posted May 10, 2015 Author Posted May 10, 2015 Will be interesting to see at what pace he bowls today..
Zelig Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Room for improvement in bowling. Must be the living room :phehehe:
BeautifulGame Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 ABDV can take apart anyone .Even Steyn couldn't survive him
Shivaji bhonsle Posted May 10, 2015 Author Posted May 10, 2015 ABDV can take apart anyone .Even Steyn couldn't survive him yeah, what s disappointing was there was no speed gun. I couldn't care less that he was getting hit.
Zelig Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 ABDV can take apart anyone .Even Steyn couldn't survive him Pandi bowled three full tosses in a row to Kohli :headshake:
BeautifulGame Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Pandi bowled three full tosses in a row to Kohli :headshake: Inexperience .Probably pressure got the better of him as he couldn't get the yorkers right .Also have to remember that his previous over , the hitting by De Villiers his confidence would have taken a beating He bowled couple of nice Yorkers to Kohli also .He will be better for the experience anyway
jusarrived Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 A genuine clean hitter . Its not just power , but also times well . He certinaly looks better than other over hyped talents like Iyer , Samson and Hooda .
Laaloo Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Looks a bit unpolished Still raw but dont worry the mentors will polish him
rkt.india Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 I don't remember MI developing a single good youngster. They will release him next year, someone else probably RR will pick him and will win matches for them.
rkt.india Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 A genuine clean hitter . Its not just power , but also times well . He certinaly looks better than other over hyped talents like Iyer , Samson and Hooda . That overhyped talent has 350 runs this season and is also in top 6 hitters list.
MK55 Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 yeah' date=' what s disappointing was there was no speed gun. I couldn't care less that he was getting hit.[/quote'] Was averaging in the lower 130s.
