asterix Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Still no coverage for this in the media? And a stone thrown on a church by a kid will make headlines :hmmm: This is part of that famous theory which my friend MTC used to champion... "India is a Secular country and in order to justify its Secularism, majority has to sacrifice a lot to give level playing field to the minorities, who are disadvantaged owing to be a minority...". Suppression of these type of news is in line of that theory...
diga Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 http://www.oneindia.com/india/nadia-riots-scale-destruction-immense-as-police-study-pattern-1739636.html Scale of destruction is immense according to this link .. still? and in Midnapore 10 people died in an illegal firecracker unit. Doesnt forebode well for west bengal http://www.oneindia.com/india/midnapore-blast-the-dark-side-of-illegal-firecracker-units-1739725.html
asterix Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 ^ that was not an illegal firecracker making unit... That was a TMC bomb making factory...
Gollum Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Nadia is the same place where that elderly Nun was gang raped by the Bangladeshi immigrants( opposition, media,AdLibs,AApterds, sickularists wrongly blamed BJP/RSS for that). It's proximity to Bangladesh and these regular untoward incidents must mean that demographics is fast changing in that district with the influx of illegal immigrants. Right at the tip of an explosion of communal violence methinks. Wrongest possible leader to lead West Bengal during this critical time.
randomGuy Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Too many traitors among Hindu community. This news should be on front page, not the church-'attacks' one.
jalebi_bhai Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Are these the ache din we were promised ? Ask Jiha-didi that question. State law and order is a state government issue. Even before state government can intervene, 3rd tier governance reps like Sarpanch, Talukdars, Ward Chairperson, Mayor have the responsibility to maintain law and order with the help of police. Don't see people ever asking these elected reps any questions when riots happen. If things go out of hand for the state govt. , then CM can call for army help. I honestly feel that Centre should declare Bengal to be a disturbed region and enforce AFSPA. Otherwise, United Banglaland will become a reality.
amiret Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Amiret, c'mon post something, mate. This is fake, isn't? I have no reason to believe it is fake . People have been slaughtering each other in Waste Bengal for the last 50-60-70-80 years . It is not unimaginable to think it happened again . The State has always been a lawless sh**h**e. Also , Amiret is not necessarily on the opposing side of every issue.
