Very good year for Ishant. Not a single bad test in England, brilliant spells in NZ. Also great accurate bowling in Aus, pitch map was so impressive compared to other Indian bowlers. Not as many wickets in Aus but that happens, can't have every tour like NZ and Eng. Really impressed with his last year or so. :nice: Compared to other Indian bowlers he was more consistent. :nice: With that said he is not on my teamsheet for a home series. Shami and Yadav are better exponents of reverse swing and have had success at home because of reverse + pace. Look at any good fast bowler in SC they could reverse it. Wasim, Akthar, Waqar, Steyn...McGrath though is a GOAT and could do anything seam, swing and take wickets even when pitch did nothing. Not everyone is McGrath though, other bowlers have taken many wickets through reverse in SC conditions. Many bowlers who can't use reverse as good do not do as well in SC as they do outside of it. Shami and Yadav, even Aaron ahead of Ishant at home for me. Ishant 4th choice at home. :((

i dont know why indians hate ishant so much ..the guy is not as bad as indian fans make him into be ...and afridi is right ...afridi is a front foot slogger and most of ishants bowls r back of length and he probably finds it hard to hit ..dont know why theres so much fuss about the statement

i think australia needed 36 in 2 overs against with 2 or 3 wickets in hand .. in comes ishu to bowl the 49th over.. and he gave away 30 runs :giggle: he came .. he bowled .. they won :((

and u guys forgot who won u champions trophy final in 2013 so fast ? if ishant had not picked those wickets in crucial times u guys would have lost to England u cant expect him to bowl like mcgrat on asian roads ..hes a kind of a bowler who needs bit of help from the pitch
