Has been a flop in recent Super 8 T20 Tournament as well. His opening partner Nauman Anwar outscored him in every match who was akso the man of the match in semi final and final

He is one of those rare guys who did tremendously well at Test level without much feet movement. One reason was because his defense was too good unless there was exaggerated movement.

CoverDrive Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 some of the shots very much like afridi I have noticed one of the tendencies of young batsmen from pakistan in recent years. they start off very well and aggressively with a bang in their initial few matches and then they start becoming meeker and more tentative. umar akmal, maqsood, haris sohail, shehzad. they somehow lose their aggression at highest level

One reason was because his defense was too good unless there was exaggerated movement. true ..and ive never seen any player who has better hand eye coordination then sehwag ..some ppl will disagree wid me but i think its even better then tendulkers hes the only batsmen who i enjoy even if he is spanking pak bowlers ...one of the most enjoyble batsmen india has ever produced ..kholi is the best in the world but i find his batting boring ..do some other poster find it same?

I find every Ind-Pak batsman boring. I don't know why. But I dont feel the excitement when they bat I feel more pleasure seeing SA - Aussi batsmen playing. I also think Indian Pakistani batsmen are overrated due to their fans. Sachin,Miadad or Hanif are exception but almost all are same. :((
