"To be a fast bowler in India is probably as tough as it gets. The wickets are not conducive to fast bowling," McGrath said. "The harder you bowl into the wicket, the slower it comes off sometimes. To be a quality fast bowler, you have to be able to adapt to different conditions around the world. To grow up in Australia, it's fine. LOL at 5 or 6, No country has 5-6 bowlers who can bowl 150k and in India we get such bowlers only once in a few decades. Just watch domestic cricket on Star Sports and Cry, almost all bowlers are in 120s and some bowl 130s.

Just watch domestic cricket on Star Sports and Cry, almost all bowlers are in 120s and some bowl 130s.[/quote'] We will easily get more 150+ in the coming generations.We never got any in the past becoz we never tried to look for players beyond the metros becoz of our poor Ranji set up.It has nothing to do with the pitch conditions Now it is changing it will produce more bowlers of similar type.

They probably produce the fittest men .

That is wishful thinking and i hope we find more but the present stock of bowlers in domestic cricket is scary, bunch of pacers bowling in 120s.

MK55 Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Umesh Aaron and Ishant/BK should be our bowling attack for tests. Personally I thnk Shami is more suited for ODIs. Bowling long spells with the run up that he has got must be strenuous. I've always had a soft corner for Aaron. Its not easy to continue bowling at around 150k and putting your body on the line after having suffered from multiple stress fractures.
