Malcolm Merlyn Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 From NDTV: Tomar sent to four days police custody. Court bhi mili hui hai
G_B_ Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Mishraji' date=' this is not your katha-vachan that anything becomes as per your story. There is classification of crimes in categories of Petty, Serious and Heinous. It doesn't become so as per your convenience. Heinous crime is standard term.[/quote'] It depends what he did after fudged his degree. (assuming he did) If he represented for example a woman who was raped and her assaulter got of scott free because of this guy's law of knowledge of the law or incompetence then IMO that becomes a heinous crime. I am talking purely from a moral POV Quite frankly any case this guy has worked on (assuming he has) becomes null and void? (need legal experts to verify that)
Desi Cartman Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 If people believe this is phast law and order only then they are kidding themselves If people can't see what BJP netas get away with then they are kidding themselves If AAP supporters think Tomar is innocent without proving it then they are kidding themselves Fact is that even though BJP has been playing politics via the LG and even otherwise with AAP govt, it doesn't mean that a guy who had a few days to show his degree has a right to cry foul. Of course the process is moving unusually fast here when you compare how salman Bhai is getting away with murder but one can't blame the court and police since they are not being lazy for a change. I think Tomar should step down till this is all resolved. I have myself seen how degrees are recorded in India, sometimes people get them after 20 years but as a neta, he should have moved fast.
mishra Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 ^ Desi Bhai! Apparently, His both degrees from two different colleges of Bihar are forged. He should have got one while doing LLB
ravishingravi Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 This is totally unfair. How can he have fake degree ? How can Kejru allow such a man to be law minister ? Btw. Won't be surprised if AAPies provide same defence. Jantar nein Hamelin mandate Diya hai.
Number Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Tomar resigns after realising that he had no defence. A man with fake degree had more sense than the AAP fans defending him.

(need legal experts to verify that) "Heinous Crime" is a standard term which has a clear definition. As per recent indian act crimes are divided in three categories - Petty, Serious and Heinous. They are clear defined list for each one of them. Mishraji was talking legal but was bringing his own gyan in declaring something as heinous when there are clear legal definitions.

Texan Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 From TOI Delhi High Court : Mr Amiret, the Swaraj Samwad/AAP ka Baap Yogendra Yadav fan, who posts updates on YoYa's activities only when they oppose BJP... why aren't you posting his views on this latest AAP controversy now? Selective filtering of news? :secret: Anyway, here are his views: If Jitender Singh Tomar’s degrees are genuine, why not make them public, asks Yogendra Yadav Ex-AAP leader Yogendra Yadav said the real issue was not technicalities behind the arrest of Jitender Singh Tomar. Former Aam Aadmi Party leader Yogendra Yadav today reacted to the sudden arrest of Delhi Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar, saying that if his law degrees are indeed genuine, the AAP should make them public instead of hiding behind court procedures. Yadav took to Twitter to share his views on the matter. Tomar, earlier today, was arrested by the Delhi Police in connection with an alleged fake degree case. The BJP has in the past alleged that Tomar’s undergraduate certificates from the Bhagalpur University in Bihar were “fake and forgedâ€. Tomar, however, dismissed the charges against him as “baseless†and said that it is a political conspiracy by the BJP. Senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh, who broke the news of the arrest, pointed fingers at the BJP-led Centre, under whose jurisdiction the Delhi Police comes, and said that the police did not give prior notice or intimation before the arrest. However, Yadav, who was expelled from the AAP for ‘anti-party activities’, wrote on Twitter that the real issue is not the technicalities behind Tomar’s arrest, but simply the ‘govt’s and party’s refusal to come clean.’ He added that he, along with Prashant Bhushan, had raised this issue 4 months ago. The real issue is not technicalities of Tomar’s arrest; that’s for courts to decide. Issue here is govt’s and party’s refusal to come clean. — Yogendra Yadav (@_YogendraYadav) June 9, 2015 PB and I raised this question 4 months ago. If his degrees are genuine, why not make them public? Why hide behind court procedures? — Yogendra Yadav (@_YogendraYadav) June 9, 2015 http://indianexpress.com/article/cities/delhi/if-jitender-tomars-degrees-are-genuine-why-not-make-them-public-asks-yogendra-yadav/ So, it looks like Master con artist Farziwal was well aware of Tomar's fake degree before he was appointed law minister and perhaps even before the Delhi elections.
Texan Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Not arguing in favor of Tomar. But arguing against the arrest and the way it has been carried out. It was absolutely unnecessary when matter is anyway in court and carried out with sole intention of insulting a popular govt. In between how come Chandra babu Naidu has not been dragged to jail yet even things being very clear on tape ? Oh I forgot he supports Modi, so he can do all. He has been charged under Sections 467, 468, 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and under Section 120 B of criminal conspiracy. These are cognizable offenses. Delhi Police is right in arresting him. As already pointed out, Modi does not control Hyderabad police. CBN & KCR control it. Obviously, CBN is not going to arrest himself. You might want to ask KCR or his supporters the question about arresting CBN. As already pointed out again, evidence against CBN is very weak. On the contrary, in Tomar's case, both universities have publicly declared that his certificates are fake. Now, on the oft-repeated "Popular Government" jibe. I find it extremely hilarious. One small success in Delhi has gone so much to AAP supporters heads that they keep regurgitating this jibe over and over again. If "popularity" is to be measured, Modi with his 336 seats in LS for NDA is about 90 times more popular in India than Kejriwal with his 4 LS seats. The same Delhi that voted AAP to the Assembly gave them a grand "anda" in the national elections. So, let's not even discuss about which government is more "popular".
Raghav_12 Posted June 10, 2015 Author Posted June 10, 2015 Court didnt grant him bail.Have some shame. From where my shame coming in picture ? Relax man. We are just discussing on internet forum.
Khalpat Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Arvind Kejriwal reminded Mr Modi that he is no Rahul Gandhi, well he forgot that Modi is no Manmohan Singh.

I humbly agree with Honorable comrade Yogendra Yadavji  , But he would also agree , that Tomar has the right to defend himself in court rather than subject himself to public and media scrutiny by making them public. Long Live AKB.
