Is the situation really that bad in North England? Do Pakistanis rule the roost there and wasn't that part also in the news recently for the Pedophile gang where white girls had to face the horrors for more than a decade in silence? Is UK going the India way? How are Sikhs/Hindus/Christians able to survive in such an environment over there? Can any UK based ICFer shed some light? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3125530/The-breeding-ground-jihadis-ice-cream-lady-wears-burka-great-textile-town-Dewsbury-undergone-terrible-transformation.html

That religion brings nothing but destruction. The ardent followers invariably become terroriss or closet terrorists.

its the daily mail gollum... dont take it seriously.
But G_B_ , the article is based on some facts. For a town with a population of 4000, too many influential extremists involved in major terror attacks don't you think? And what UK newspaper(1 or max 2) would you suggest? I want to track news (mainly political developments. current affairs, not sports/business) in that part of the world.

I would suggest the centrist Times even though its the Murdoch media. But its behind a paywall.... On the papers i guess read both Telegraph and Guadian. These two are right wing and left wing respectively but they are known as broadsheets. Daily mail, daily mirror etc are tabloids. Avoid the tabloids. I will be upfront, I do visit the Daily mail often. But only to see the snaps of celebrities and flesh being exposed by the ladies in question. My wife goes there for the fashion tips. But i wont take any article from there seriously. Yes there are problems with that area. But its not that bad.

Indian muslims are best in the entire world. There atr few bad apples but they are in hindu society as well. But in general we are lucky to have them as part of India. So Allah, the almighty is on our side.

^^500 plus UK Muslims have joined ISIS and you are saying its not serious?
Its in line with other western european countries per 1000 people like Belgium Netherlands France Germany Sweden etc. Nearly double the number from France have joined. France is a country with similar population overall as the UK. You have to keep in mind that the UK is extremely well connected to Turkey (from where the ISIS members embark towards Syria) via low cost air travel as it is seen as a holiday destination. Many fighters/ISIS sympathisers may want to join but may not have the means to.

I know I joke about Bradford being "Bradistan" but I've had nothing but positive experiences with Yorkshire's Pakistani community, through local cricket as well as work. There are bad eggs in every community and society. Social exclusion in the UK is nowhere near as bad as it is in France

Personally, I have only have positives with Muslims apart from that one carpet guy, and Daily mail is effin great source of truth but when you have nearly 30% Brit Muslim openly sympathizsng Charlie Hebdo killers, then certainly there is some thing wrong within the community http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/religion/11434695/Over-a-quarter-of-British-Muslims-have-sympathy-for-the-Charlie-Hebdo-terrorists.-That-is-far-too-many.html

We have fewer muslims joing isis than people from european countries, so the majority thinking displayed in this thread should apply to indian muslims too. Why are we resident indians constantly being asked to look at our neighbors with suspicion, when you get to defend yours?
