broken_wings Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Shouldn't you better ask, how many current indian players can walk into current Bangladesh line up ? :winky: Lets see: Shikhar Soumya Kohli Mahmudullah Shakib Dhoni Nasir Ashwin Rubel Mustafizur Shami

India has reached world cup semi, won CT. Bangladesh's real aukat will be seen in CT.
Austin 3:!6 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 With Dhoni as a captain' date=' he can never make a cut.....[/quote'] There you go...there you go... :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
jusarrived Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Nonsense , the only batsmen who looks world class in BD side is Litton Das . Sarkar is having a good run , but has too many weaknesses to last long .
Gunner Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Nope, none of the BD players are good enough to get into an Indian XI

mishra Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Our Tewari Rayudhu and Binny can make it into Bong team.
broken_wings Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 No Rohit or Raina? You're kidding yourself. Rohit misses out to Soumya, sorry mate. Yep, Raina can make it to the team, he may replace Nasir. But Nasir is at top form in bowling wise. So, it was a tough call between these two.

It's quite embarrassing to yourself that you are comparing your golden history to Bangladesh's recent success who has just started playing well, isn't it ? :winky:

So, it was a tough call between these two. Rohit is probaly better than any batsman Bangla ever produced in the history of their game. 2 double hundreds is no joke and here someone thinks Soumya Sarkar will replace him. :cantstop: Bengalis :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
HippoSucks Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Rohit misses out to Soumya, sorry mate. Yep, Raina can make it to the team, he may replace Nasir. But Nasir is at top form in bowling wise. So, it was a tough call between these two. Rohit misses out to a kid who has done well over 10 ODIs played at home (he was mediocre in the other 6 matches he played away from home - except one fifty in New Zealand)? If you just want to consider home performances then Rohit averages 65 in India over 28 matches. Raina is a miles better batsman than Nasir and would make the team for his batting alone (even though he is hardly a worse bowler than Nasir).
Austin 3:!6 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Jokes aside and In all honesty, this would be combined Indo - Bangla team: Dhawan Rohit Kohli Rayudu Raina Dhoni Binny Ashwin Bhuvi Shami Umesh
HippoSucks Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Jokes aside and In all honesty, this would be combined Indo - Bangla team: Dhawan Rohit Kohli Rayudu Raina Dhoni Binny Ashwin Bhuvi Shami Umesh Shakib could probably come in for Rayudu (not Binny because he is better for slogging in the late overs than Shakib) but that's about it.
Gollum Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 He will walk into any Asian team atm. Once in a generation talent !!!
jf1gp_1 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Bd beat India making them a better team so every one walks into Indian team. In fact if he had made his debut 6-7 yrs back he would have walked in for Sachin .
broken_wings Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Jokes aside and In all honesty, this would be combined Indo - Bangla team: Dhawan Rohit Kohli Rayudu Raina Dhoni Binny Ashwin Bhuvi Shami Umesh Isn't the same team that got smacked by minnow country Bangladesh ? If you recon that's your best team then good luck ! :--D
HippoSucks Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Isn't the same team that got smacked by minnow country Bangladesh ? If you recon that's your best team then good luck ! :--D Not giving excuses for the loss but the tired players simply got outplayed that series. That does not mean that the players are any less good now. Rohit, Kohli, Raina etc are still quality ODI players. Australia lost to Zimbabwe not too long back. That did not automatically mean that some Zimbabwe players would walk in to Australia's line up simply because they won a match (or in Bangladesh's case, won two matches).
sensible-indian Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 He will walk into any Asian team atm. Once in a generation talent !!! Yep. I am surprised so many under-rate him. More sample set is needed but he is a great talent for sure.

It was one of those series where they were sleep walking right after IPL.
