Ashwin who bowled so well before lunch wasn't given the ball after lunch and worse, his end was changed in favor of Harbhajan. :facepalm: 3. Only 1 slip for Varun, we could have gotten Angelo earlier It seems that Captain Corrupt has been replaced by another guy who isn't averse to favoritism. Expect Dhawan, Bhajji and Nohit to get the treatment Chuskis got under MSD.Feeling scared regarding the future of Vijay, Rahane, Che, Ashwin How do you rate him tactically? Discuss !!!

Seriously I realise bowl fast to get wickets. but he basically was the difference in sl getting rounded up for 120 and 180. Released all the pressure which the spinners had built up. India will be better served with 7 batsman.

Rohit is a bad decision agreed. But I don't think Kohli has major favouritism (minor favouritism will be there for everyone - human nature). That guy is so bothered about winning that he will never play passangers for a long period. He just needs a bit of time to realize Rohit's worth and soon chuck him out. Same goes for Bhajji. I genuinely feel for Bhajji these days but unfortunately he isn't good enough.

Dartbhajan hasn't been good enough for years and having done nothing in domestic crickets is inexplicably recalled at the age of 35. Makes zero sense.

Didn't have two slips for aaron,would have got Mathews out,should have gone with an extra batsman tbh (my thoughts) though lets see if the 5th bowler makes an impact in the next innings

Lot of people criticize him for selecting Rohit ahead of pujara, but every captain has their favorites. Rohit is a good talent, only person to score two double centuries in Odis. You can't leave him for a struggling pujara. 5 bowlers strategy is brilliant. Its been years since I have seen 5 regular bowlers playing for Indian team. This is good. I don't know about others, but I believe he is lot better than Dhoni.

To be fair, Aaron outperformed Yadav in Bangladesh test and tour game. In that case, Kohli rewarded performance. Its just that both Aaron and Yadav are sprayguns and brainless who will give good output during good spells but lose it all during bad spells.

Why take the new ball only to ask Pissant to go around the wicket and bowl shot to Angelo? 3 unnecessary boundaries in that over. WTF is wrong with Kohli? Short ball strategy with the new ball when throughout this match full pitch bowling with the new cherry is troubling batters. Ghanta aggression. To be fair Dhoni was a very good captain in his first couple of years, this idiot looks like the worst captain in the world by far.

NO MATTER WHAT THE STRATEGY...you can't open one spot up and ask batsmen to take singles. When they take singles, it upsets the rhythm of bowlers. There is a worldof difference between having fielders in the deep saving the boundary and opening up spots and asking batsmen to take singles in the hope that they would get out. In theory it looks good but never works in real life (barring some exceptions). Then usage of 5 bowlers was not done the right way too. 5 bowlers is there for you to make BEST USE OF YOUR 2-3 bowlers who will get you the wickets. Not to distribute overs between them. He does seem to learn from his mistakes but he does make a lot of mistakes. Buckle up Kohli. Its getting annoying. We may possibly even get whitewashed here in SL.
