Most often when teams play 3 spinners one is underbowled or wasted.Better to stick to 7-4 on these tracks particularly with young & inexperienced batting and 2 offspiners is not on.

5 bowler is good when one of them is an AR and your WK can bat in top6 ..apart from this our batting is so inexperienced to put additional pressure on them is plain stupid ...single biggest reason we lost today

Entire top order looks weak . Vijay is also not there. They dug their own grave by playing Rohit at 3. Rahul dude is not convincing. Kohl I is not fully back in form . One of the weakest Indian batting line up despite having big names.

we dont even yet know who are our settled top 5, and want to play 5 bowlers. Rahul a complete rookie, Rohit an eternal rookie, now you want to win matches depending on 3 batsmen and all 3 wont score every time. You at least 3-4 out of your 6 batsmen to score big runs in every innings to have any chance of a win.

As a neutral fan, i am amazed as to how many chances Rohit gets. I know domestic players who haven't played a lot or any international cricket are often over hyped, but surely if you gave many domestic players as many chances as him, they would be more successful?

5 bowler strategy is ok, but only if you have five bowlers and a decent batting unit. We have two and a half bowlers and three batsmen in the side now - rest are imposters. :)

Even Lehman was lamenting about 5th bowler in the last test. And that is AUSTRALIAN lineup we are talking about. 5th bowler is to give your main bowler breathers. http://www.espncricinfo.com/the-ashes-2015/content/story/908041.html

Lehman was lamenting missing the 5th bowler who is All rounder .Not a pure bowler . That's what rtk was hinting about
They have ARs so they speak about them. But they also want that 5th bowler to give rest to their main bowlers. If your regular batsmen are reliable part timers, no need for 5 bowlers. But none of our batsmen is which causes a problem. In SC conditions, we may not need 5 bowlers (if we go with 3 spinners) but the strategy isn't wrong.

Playing 5 bowlers is a luxury we cannot afford particularly in SC where we can win. Particularly when bhajji is playing as an all-rounder

We have to look at this pace attack of Ishant,Umesh & Aaron. Why cant we have 1 bowler who can held 1 end.He will just bowl line & length & apply pressure by bowling maidens.
