Much flatter wickets ' date=' smaller grounds , bigger bats . When was the last time you saw a opener struggle cos of Two new balls ? its only 2-3 overs they need to play out[/quote'] Grounds were always like that. They aren't small particularly now in last 2 years. SRT, Viru, ganguly all played most of their cricket in these same grounds. Tracks have been same in last 10-15 years, just the effect of T20 has made batsmen more fearless in LOIs.

Ishanth is crap whatever you guys say' date=' we just have to put up with him as there are no better alternatives and due to his once in a while performances[/quote'] Due to his height if Ishant lands the ball on the seam he will be a threat. He has been able to land the ball on seam quite often in tests so has been effective. As long as he keeps that discipline he is a must in the test XI.

Fans who are happy with Pishant' date='nohit and Binny show how pathetic we have become and hhow deep we have fallen[/quote'] Yup, I still believe our best period was the period between 2005 -2011, with the rp, zaheer, quick munaf ,skillfull sreesanth upcoming Ishant a wily Kumble, aggressive bhaji, with an exciting batting lineup and upcoming stars like kohli waiting in the wings, every thing has fallen since 2011, and has hit a new low in 2015.

A 2008 team would have smashed' date=' herath and co and bowlers like mustafizur into oblivion.[/quote'] Indian bowlers are lucky they never got to bowl to that lineup. Can you imagine what Viru yuvi Sachin would have done to them. Our bowlers would have never got Dravid; Ganguly would have torn into any spinner we fielded during that time

Laxman would have done beautifully as well. Yuvi was never as good a Test players as the other names mentioned but even he (and other domestic gods) would have done well.
