Exactly he plays the same way on all pitches. It is alright you take your time on juicy pitches. On dead pitches, scoring against new ball is much easier than with old ball. The job of opener is to assess the conditions of the pitch play accordingly. Gambhir, Tendulkar, Viru they all did that
