yeah Rahane should still open in the WC.More reliable option overseas also with new ball there ball will both swing and bounce and Rahane is better in handling swing.Whereas at 4 there will not be swing but bounce which Rohit supposedly Rohit loves

Pitches in WI were far more difficult to bat where Rohit was MOS. He also did well in CT in England. Had mild success in NZ too. So, CB series will decide the slots, IMzi.

Did you even watch them? There was huge seam and swing available for fast bowlers. BK and Ishant were making their batsmen's life difficult. Even Darren Sammy was difficult to play because those pitches were unpredictable due to seam movement from patchy grass in Port of Spain. some commentary: SL got out at 96 while chasing.

Yes I did it's still not same thing Some,people struggle on different type of tracks ..how come same rohit has been flop since then on even slightly difficult track and 3 or 4 deliveries where ball moved a lot does not means every one did It was tough track to score runs and he hung around but this inning was not his usual stuff and once a while fluke happen s...let's ignore every damn inning where he failed just remember this :two_thumbs_up:

He failed that is a different thing that is more mental issue. But I dont see any fault with this approach if he can survive the new ball and make it count later. You need a lot of patience and that is where he was losing it after WI tour. He scored runs in WI and CT with the same approach.

Oh please let not go to this again It's not mental issue he just cannot play moving ball it's as simple as tht and because of his techniCal deficiency he cannot even buy single and tries to slog and sooner or later gets out It has happened over and over again and technique has been exposed and please do not let this inning fool you again We have been here before 200 vs Australia on patta then away series and people making excuses after excuses you calling him missing balls leaving ...I do not even want to discuss again just go back and see his inning in South Africa or even England .

you missed that for sure Eranga to RG Sharma, 1 run, dropped Rohit has been tied up and now he has been handed a lifeline, he charged out and had a heave at this widish length delivery, it looped up and went straight to third man, who bent and tried taking it with fingers pointed up, and clanged it, Thisara Perera the man, and Eranga has his hands on his head in disbelief not everytime fielder going to drop a sitter. He scored 209 against aussies too last year we all know how he rocked in SA and NZ because they did not dropped his catches.

Why would you need to play moving ball? Just leave them. He was doing it in CT and WI very well patiently, but as he lost patent, he failed. There is no one who does not struggle against moving ball. There was far more unpredictable movement and bounce in WI than in SA or England. It is just about mental application.

It is just about mental application.[/quote'] That is part of how to play moving ball ..leaving is also part of it and you have to play some of them but with his technique he finds it difficult And it's not just patience he is has been here for so many years and I am sure even when he retires you will make same excuses and I am honestly bored..keep telling yourself after every inning he plays on patta that nothing...good luck :two_thumbs_up:

I think this was the first catch ever dropped by a fielder. :two_thumbs_up:
