vinay kumar is out of the squad but he's not hyped. no one wants gambhir back This isn't about hype. Rayudu has delivered on multiple occasions, even when he's not been backed. He isn't gonna set the world on fire but we need a number 6 that can block properly, can score, can fight it out. If we needed to bat out 20 overs, I would be confident if rayudu was there, way more than if rohit was. Instead of being the glue in the order like a proper number 6, rohit crumbles the team. Rayudu deserves a shot because he's shown that temperament before. And anyone was better than the passengers in the last AUS tour.
