Was Prasad scared of Ishant ?

Prasad threw his wicket away as he came and hit ashwin as if he was drunk. even the first few hits that he did were as if he wanted to get out... was he trying to ensure that he does not need to face the bouncers that Ishant may fire at him... Ishant was gearing up to fire series of bouncers for sure..once Prasad got out.. Mishra ji got the last wicket.. lanka threw away the last 3 wickets in 6 to 7 balls- that was surprising. but was Prasad scared.

Collapses are part of SL batting... last match, they lost 6-7 wkts for around 50 runs as well. I think it's just a case of tailenders giving up and throwing the towel in.

I definitely feel that Ishant has kinda scared the Lankan batsmen too........ I liked his attitude ..he bounced and scared and even hit them. he hit quite a many batsmen in these tests. I liked his line which was always good. I liked his length which was never good b4 but great this time...

He was injured. And Ishant must have copped some serious damage if it was 82nd over instead of 76 when he came in to bat. I think the rivalry will go long. Prasad has that bastard streak in him. He will not forget this, and by all means he has been getting fitter and fitter. When he debuted in he clicked 90mph regularly (beat Gambhir and Shewag for pace), if he can get back to upper 80s he'll be much more dangerous.

His fitness will be constrained by age to an extent. Pacers, with exceptions, do not last much beyond 36. Prasad is already 32.

I noticed this as well... the lankan batters in the end got out to some really **** shots... Ishant firing in bouncers surely had to be something in the back of their mind Ishant already injured Prasad during this test. I am sure Prasad must have thought about his career.

Damn it I wanted to see New celebration like this 4NKOpZK.gif
I saw Lankans said something when he came to bat. May be break your head or along those lines. It was really pathetic from lankans to try to intimidate a bowler when he is batting. One Lankan players pushed him while few surrounded him. Umpire had to intervene and calm things down. He gave a really befitting response with the ball :hatsoff:

Pathetic players with equally pathetic supporter. Jog on with that mentality. I hope match referee fines all the Lungans involved in the altercation while you make use of burnol

Ha ha, let's see that. This is a guy who hit Sehwag and Gambhir who have way better techniques than Ishant. He is built like an ox, definitely stronger than Ishant. So we'll keep an eye on these two. And Prasad might once again took at his batting, he is a pretty good batsman. He has neglected his batting from the looks of it. This may be an opportunity to improve his batting.

There is two views for the whole saga. The ruthless view and the gentlemanly view. Ruthless viewpoint From Ishna't point of view, he is there to take wickets, and bouncing people is part of that. Yes, he bounced Prasad, who was injured. If Prasad thought he was bad enough, should never returned for batting, but he did. So Ishant is entitled to bounce him once again. From Prasad's point of view, Ishant is a tailender, but Prasad is there to get him out. Bouncing is part of that. Ishant cannot whine on the numb er of bouncers he receives, and cannot complain on that as well. If he cannot play the bouncers, then get out. But under no explanation Prasad's chasing of Ishant and Chandimal's shoulder barging should be tolerated. That was ugly, and Iam ashamed as a SL supporter about that. But if Prasad bounces and kills somebody, I don't care, because intention was not to kill. Ishant got what he deserved. He was an ass from the 1st test onwards sending off batsmen. All the altercations had one common factor, that is Ishant. Even the "spoilt brat" Kohli didn't get in to any major action with any of the players.

Ishant hot what he deserved? What's that? A series win in the home of SL? Pretty sure Ishant won this battle. And bouncers are fine, but that pussy was going way over the crease to bowl bouncers. I'd say the pussy got what he deserved, not Ishant. And all of India is grateful to the lankans for letting Ishant get into their heads.
