The sport seems to be on a decline there.Perth has become a joke, I remember watching RP Singh bowl there in 2008, he used to get the ball to bounce to waist height from a good length even though he had a skiddy bowling action and not a high arm one. Now Perth is even flatter than Rajkot.

People want exciting cricket whether it ends in 2 days or 3 days or 4 days that does not matter to me. It is my opinion. In last game, both teams had equal opportunities to win. Score big on a flat pitch and put opposition under pressure. This is the reason Dhoni advocated for pitches which turned from day 1 in India because it made toss redundant and gave equal chance to both teams. I believe we have produced some really good pitches after 2010 series against NZ which saw some two big scoring boring draws. Test cricket has been exciting due to that. It's bad for the game if Aussies lose interest in it considering their deep cricket tradition.
adi B Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Even the die hard aussie fans I know are not happy with these type of pitches,its very flat nowadays with no sideways movement and swing,add to that they use the kookabura ball lol.This is the reason why Australian batsmen struggle away from home in SC and English conditions where there's spin and swing doccricket 1
