MK55 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 160.4 Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkHow does one ball go above 6 miles per hour and then no other ball close to it. Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkHe bowled a few 154-155k deliveries. SO the yorker ball was +3mph
Number Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 And he was mostly accurate throughout.Great spell.
MK55 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 He doesn't get the same pace when he tries to bowl short. Drops to the 140s. Off course the full ball is registered quicker on the speed gun and he's so accustomed to bowling full. But he needs to improve his short deliveries.
zep1706 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Is this the fastest bowl in test cricket ?No, Akhtar, Tait and Lee have bowled faster.
rkt.india Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 No, Akhtar, Tait and Lee have bowled faster. Not in test.

MechEng Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) Now I believe Wasim Akram must have touched 160 kph mark in 1980s as Paki fans keep claiming, considering the similarities in their bowling actions. Edited November 15, 2015 by MechEng

Wasim Akram was hype! He was fast medium, never fast. At his fastest he was 145. express bowling and adi B 2
Number Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 No, Akhtar, Tait and Lee have bowled faster. Not in tests I think.

AND there are innumerable claims that many uncapped Pakistani pacers have touched 170 k. adi B 1
Mosher Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Starc has a beautiful repeatable action. He doesn't seem to be trying too hard to get that pace. express bowling and doccricket 2
