India's lower order missing in T20s

You can't have Rohit, Dhawan and Kohli carry Indian batting in every game in to T20s.

The middle order of Raina and Yuvraj has been wanting in recent games too, but that's another issue that needs to be addressed.

Though the lower order (6,7,8) usually consisting of Dhoni, Jadeja, Pandey and/or Ashwin has just not fired in recent times. When is the last time Jadeja played any innings of substance in ODIs or T20i in last 12 months?

It is a problem that gets highlighted when we lose like yesterday. I kept saying that we are hyping a team that has notable weaknesses in its middle order batting. 

Jaddu I agree is only a bowler. Let's be clear about it.

kohli is covering a lot of the weakness in some matches. When Kohli fails in a match, then it is apparent the rest crumble

Not exactly. In the last warm up game, Kohli scored very less and others took the innings forward and almost won the game.

Jaddu , Raina and Pandey has to step up. Poor batting from these guys for last few matches. Especially Jaddu  who is almost Nehraesque with the bat.

It doesn't matter, India has the best top order of any team in all 3 formats. That is more than enough to win most games, at least in LOIs.

Nobody is claiming it. Infact in ICF, we believe teams like Aus, SA have far better batting lineup in terms of power.

Too much dependence, we may well be back to Sachin era of the 90s.

Ind has to forget about banking on  its lower order batting as it bats like a lottery at the moment ....  Best it can do is promote guys like Pandya to open if required. If he works great, if not nothing much is lost

Another option is to select team like this: 5 inform batsmen + 1 WK + 5 best bowlers

Last year Kohli was out of form and India's batting was doing just fine.

Dhoni had regained his six hitting form.Nagpur was a horrible pitch.Yuvraj,Raina,Sharma can all go hammer and tongs if required.One bad game and ALL hope is lost.

Cmon...We are getting in the semis and thrashing some teams on the way.Believe It !!
