Yes the newer generation should be better then the old...plus the kids need new role models..we don't want to turn like Pakistan where after wasim and waqar, there is no one as role models in cricket.

Greatest Ind "cricketer" - tough to beat Kapil Dev. We have had great batsmen, very good bowlers, but only one great pacer-allrounder (who also served as captain and great fielder)

 

Test batsman - Gavaskar and SRT will compete, Dravid and Laxy greats too

We can't leave out Anil Kumble.

He has won us more test matches than any other cricketer we have ever had in our history.

How does almost everyone forget him !!
