Added him in place of Dhoni mainly as an opener. Liked how he went after bowling in many of the games .... However, I am open to suggestions for that opening slot based on performances in the event

If both fail, then Kohli and Root both guaranteed to provide stability keeping run rate ticking.

This XI also has 6 good bowling options.

 

Keeping in mind this team is based on current WORLD T20, I think they can come trumps in any conditions

Reminds me of this comment on youtube. Your bowling selection is just like an Indian team bowling selection all over the years. Someone asked why dhoni you said there is no other good wicket keeper, then other user pointed butler. You removed Dhoni and added Bumrah lol. Why make an effort on World 11? Just concentrate on Indian 11 where you can select all Indians.

Is it so hard for you to debate on facts? Don't make assumptions about how I select my team. Appears as if you are judging others 11 by your low Pakistani standards 

 

I had Dhoni as WK because I overlooked that I had picked Butler as well. Since I had already picked a WK, I replaced Dhoni with de Kock but as an opener .... Dhoni as a WK + finisher with the ability to play under pressure is a good pick but on current form there are better options  .... I already had Bumrah in my 11 as a bowler to bowl mainly at the death. And I have Mustafizur as the connecting link b/w Nehra and Bumrah. I have two spinners, who have done well in the WT20, with different bowling styles 

 

Coming back to the topic, almost everyone who has posted an 11 has picked Nehra. Do you have any reasonable argument based on performances in this WT20 that he should not be picked to open the bowling?
