Not fully true , BD was always short , we all know Bengali's in general are short so their team is also. And in West Indies Youngsters are opting for other sports and we all know  a tall guy is preferred in NBA , NFL etc still their team this year was full of Giants.It is not necessary that you will find a tall guy who has all talent , dedication and love that sport too .Tall guys are selected in sport if they have real advantage over short guys but in power hitting 5 feet 7 warner and Sehwag were very good

If they are Giants on average then no surprise but so far I have not read single article that Jamaicans or Carribean nationals are Giants, do you have any?

Power matters in power hitting, not height.
