tweaker Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Team India test skipper Virat Kohli wants his Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB)head coach Daniel Vettori for coaching role for the national side
sourab10forever Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 (edited) No ways... Don't think Dhoni will accept this even if virat insists.. And It's high time we have a permanent Indian coaching team I would love.... Head coach : Rahul Dravid Others : Arun,Bangar,Sridhar Selection committee : Sachin, VVS and another Indian ex-cricketer Edited May 13, 2016 by sourab10forever
Mariyam Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Anybody else finds this statement disconcerting? The selection of the coach shouldn't be the prerogative of the captain. Its the other way around. beetle 1

sourab10forever Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Rahul dravid appointed as member of ICC's cricket committee for 3 years...does this some what suggest that he is not interested in the offer made by BCCI?

BTW no way Dravid can be coach as well as the member of ICC's committee. Its a conflict of interest as well as time constraint. express bowling 1

But Dravid can make such a good coach....esp during this transition.... He seems to be really good young talent and give them necessary guidance and inspiration Perfect man for head coach ..... But he is blocked by ICC for 3 years Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk

Chandan Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Rahul Dravid understands all formats, great candidate for Indian coach: Ricky Ponting But I don't think Dravid himself is ready for that.

To gather the info, they must watch most of the domestic matches day in and day out where the quality of cricket is very low in 80% of the games. . It can be a boring and non-glamourous job. How many of the big names would be interested ? tweaker 1
