Top 10 greatest batsman/bowlers from SubContinent

The only way Bhajji should be in any top 10 lists would be for players who were most undeserving of playing 100 matches. He might probably top that list.

I would like to see people's input on the current lads thats still playing instead of past players.

Bhajji of past was one of the greatest spinner of our era. How he dominated australia and the winning test matches against S. Waugh team was one of the finest memory of my life time. Current bhajji is just a shadow of his past.

 I think Hanif Mohammad of Pakistan makes a top 10 batsmen's list. One time holder of highest test and first class scores.

why is he not deserving of his achievements? 400 plus wickets is not a joke. How many bowlers have taken those wickets in history? 400 wickets in tests for a bowler are like 10,000 runs for a batsman.

with 100+ Test matches, 400+ wickets wouldv a joke for Ajmal...

Read my question again - do you know of any other less deserving players to have played 100 Tests. Did I say that he does not deserve 400 wickets? If you let Ishant Sharma play 130-140 Tests, he would also get to 400 wickets. But does that mean he is better than all other bowlers who didn't get to 400 Test wickets?

But why is he less deserving to play 100 tests than any of them? He probably has won us more test matches than SRT and RD combined. He has 417 wickets in 103 tests. Any bowler who has picked 4 wickets per match for those many tests is a great bowler. Second best test fast bowler of this generation is James Anderson and even he doesnt have 4 wickets per match. Bhajji declined in last few years, but he had done so well in first first 6-7 years that he still has a great record despite the decline.

yeah that chucker. playing 100 test matches in itself is an achievement. Ajmal would never have played those many.
