I searched and found that you should get the option to switch to AR (Augmented reality) mode when you find a pokemon nearby. Haven't tried it because of lack of time. PBN Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 (edited) lol some people using 'gps spoofing' to play the game while sitting at home while virtually being present in various place via gps spoofing. probably kills the fun factor but you can save on data lol.. you can also get banned if you switch your locations too quickly.. I think its limited to the no of pokemon that shows in your nearby tab in the game. Also its time based, read many time on twitter/reddit that a much wanted pokemon run away. velu 1
