Reverse swing exponents

Mohd. Shami and Umesh Yadav are reasonably ok exponents of reverse swing. Are they covering the shine, or somehow being lax?

Zaheer Khan used to cover it well.

I have seen England players especially Joe Root takes good care of the ball.Whenever ball is in their hands,they are seen rubbing it vigorously
