But our local empty vessel has demonstrated the opposite of the midas touch a bit. And his attempts at passing off bandwagoning as "talent" spotting are more irritating than bad south asian commentators in a quality cricket game - pick your poison - Arun lal, Manju, and their Pak/SL/Bang counterparts.

I don't know why but I liked Arun Lal's commentary... maybe coz he gave me the best of two things I love watching - Cricket and Nature documentaries

Gotta admit Renshaw can play shots after he crosses 100... sadly never saw Chopra get to a 100 in intl cricket :( But I don't expect Renshaw to get to a 100 in India the way he did in Warner's slipstream at Sydney.
