Pakistan tainted/discarded players comeback watch thread

The problem is not  players getting another shot as long as they have served their ban. The problem is how desperate the Pakistani fans and the PCB are to think that these banned players are the answers to all the problems.

If a person his convicted and served his sentence he deserves a shot at redemption but for that he has to go back in line and work his way hard, even extra harder to make a comeback, nothing wrong with that, but the fact that they are handed everything on a silver platter as if nothing ever happened is apalling.

Agree its a huge difference in culture too.. Convicted cheats won't find daily wage in our country leave alone playing crickets, pathetic PCB management to be blamed here tooo

Everyone deserves a second shot after serving punishment. The problem is punishment is almost always lenient and comeback to the national team is not based on merit. I do not think Amir set things on fire in domestics before getting a second chance. Also Asif, Aktar were repeated offenders in one thing or the other. Akmal brothers anyhow find a way to get back to team.:giggle:. If they find decent openers in near future expect grand comeback of Sharjeel Khan, the second coming of Gilchrist.

Sharjeel is not accused of fixing but failure to report about the approach made by bookie. So, there should not be any problem in his come back if he has not done any fixing.

That is what he and Khalid admitted to. However chairman Shaharyar Khan in one of his usual loose talk has even revealed that they have evidence that Sharjeel carried out the deal he made with Yousuf in the first match of the PSL for his franchise, Islamabad United.

I have never seen any other country have tribunals and courts for corrupt/undisciplined players. They just ban or ignore them

That's just the start. They will start an inquiry commission headed by a former army chap or someone from the judiciary. The whole fiasco will drag for nearly an year, a report will be "leaked", another committee will be commissioned to  investigate the leak, the PCB chief will change in meantime owing to the govt being overthrown or the current PM being sacked, a new PCB chief will come in, pardons for all and the cycle will continue :phehe:

There are no solid proofs yet of spot fixing. Even ICC made in the case of trio back in 2010, Stop blind hatred
