Pakistan or West Indies, which team will automatic qualify for the 2019 World Cup?

The top 8 teams will qualify automatically for the 2019 world cup.WI and Pak hold 8-9 in the rankings.September is the cut off date.Which team will qualify?

Pakistan will not qualify, sadly.

Pakistan will quickly arrange a series like they did last time. But isn't 2 years too far way for qualification.

I believe there is a serious chance that WI or PAK which ever team has to play the qualifiers for the last 2 spots might be in for a shock because Afghans are playing well and Ireland are known for their giant killing ways.

you can bet your house, ICC will make sure Pakistan are at WC 2019 100%. Ind v Pak is too a big match and revenue earner for ICC not to have Pak 

So probably expect if Pak is on the brink not to qualify, ICC will accommodate a last minute series.

Does the rankings gives credit to Pakistan since they are unable to score cheap wins at home like other teams? If yes, then Pak should play qualifying round.

West Indies, I like that they severed ties with some of the players that were involved with the WICB vs Players drama (not taking sides with the board). They should be better and more focused.

 

Pakistan has a shot, since they will play WI in a series soon, and Amir is actually good in ODIs. I don't think any of the Windies players have played him yet, so that should work in their favor.

Honestly want Pakistsn to qualify and Bangladesh to be left behind. This is because if Pakistan is ranked 9, they will be heavy favorites against all the associate nations when they play in the qualifying tournament for the 2019 world cup, where only 2 teams will qualify for the world cup. And we all know Pakistan will be one of them so, it will be unfaif to others and all will be basically fighting for just 1 spot. With Bangladesh or West Indies, you never know. They could be beaten by the Ireland, UAE, Afghanistan or the surprise pckage - USA.
